Land surveyors mainly provide measurement solutions for land and buildings. To do this, a variety of techniques and different types of equipment is used to accurately and swiftly capture the required information. This discussion covers the basic collection methods and the most common forms of deliverable. During the presentation some simple examples will be displayed together with the methodology used to accurately capture the data.
This Webinar will discuss, in a basic overview, how measurement professionals (Land Surveyors) capture and use their measurements to provide 2D and 3D data to a mixed use of stakeholders.

About the Speaker
Chris is a member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), Registered Surveyor (Dubai and Abu Dhabi) and Corporate Member of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (MCInstCES). Experienced in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Far East, Kuwait and the UAE and has practical and managerial experience for over thirty years in all aspects of Company Management and Geomatics.
Chris has extensive knowledge of measurement codes and standards, Strata Law, Lease and Title plan preparations. Expertise with GIA and NIA preparations, IPMS, AFL (Agreement for Lease) documents, retail zoning, practical measurement skills, 3D scanners, hand-held lasers, Leica Total Stations and MBS software.
Chris has worked on several major projects including the London Olympic Village and initiatives for McDonalds Restaurants, Barclays Bank and Toyota.
