RICS is delighted to invite you to a CPD run on The Rational Leader: Role and Skills of Project Manager to Succeed, which will be held on 12 March 2019 at B303, The Design House, Al Sufouh Gardens, Dubai.
This seminar is intended to enable project’s managers to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to manage a project. A project manager is a person who has the overall responsibility for the success or failure of the project. He must have a combination of skills including the personality to ask questions, disclose assumptions, resolve conflicts, also management skills.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Distinguish the role of project manager?
- Have a complete picture of the project management (“know how”) and procedural skills (“know-how”) by presenting the current state of the art in the field (ie, existing approaches, methods and strategies of team management and their application to real world business situations).
- Help project managers crystallize the knowledge and skills presented through reflections in the discussion process and integrate the knowledge gained and / or present the manager’s experience.
- The impact of cultural awareness on project status.

Ali is the CEO & Founder of “Canadian Development Center” a management consulting firm. He has a total of 15 years’ experience as a project manager, professor, and management consultant.
Ali holds a doctorate in business administration from the USA and a master’s degree in project management from Canada. He has five years of progressive experience in the development and oversight of academic programmes, business and marketing strategies, and project management in different industries. Ali is an active researcher who aims from his studies to contribute to knowledge and positive social change.
