RICS is delighted to invite you to a CPD run on Claims- Engineer’s Responses and Determinations, which will be held on 27 February 2019 at B303, The Design House, Al Sufouh Gardens, Dubai.
RICS members only
Every claim submitted by a contractor requires a response or determination from the Engineer but many costly and time-consuming disputes are caused as a result of incorrect or inadequately presented responses. This CPD seminar will discuss the obligations of the Engineer when responding to and providing formal determinations of claims and how to comply this in a professional and efficient manner to avoid disputes.
The outcome of a response or determination should be to set out the findings of the Engineer in such a way that it will satisfy both the Employer and the Contractor so matters may be amicably agreed.
If you are a consultant or employer:
- How to manage contractor’s claims
- What to include in a response document
- How to present a response document
- How to satisfy both the Employer and the Contractor
If you are a Contractor:
- What to look for when the Engineer responds to your claims.
