RICS is delighted to invite you to a CPD run on Dispute Resolution: A Perspective on Dispute Avoidance, which will be held on 9 October 2019 at B303, The Design House, Al Sufouh Gardens, Dubai.
The seminar examines the benefit of dispute avoidance, with practical guidance on the importance of contract drafting, letter skills, decision making and strategy. The seminar will also provide an insight on the use of mediation as a means of avoiding larger dispute, the use of commercial settlements and conclude with the importance of exercising impartiality and ethics.

About the Speaker
Andrew Mason is a Fellow member of RICS (FRICS) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCI Arb). With a 30-year QS career in Europe, USA and Middle East, he works as an Adjudicator, Arbitrator, Expert Witness, Mediator, Strategic Consultant and Man of Skill acting for private clients, family offices and corporate clients across a wide range of sectors. He holds a Lifetime Achievement Award from Glasgow Caledonian University and is a regular lecturer and speaker on construction, real estate and business issues.
